SEE YOU IN TWO

Elder McDonald saying "Goodbye."
Well, the day FINALLY arrived. After waiting 5 long months (his call came December 9, 2016), we took Elder McDonald to the airport. He was ready and excited to go. The rest of us however, had a tougher time with our goodbyes. Plus, his flight was at 6am, so we were up EARLY and were TIRED from not having slept the night before.
Bennett (13) saying goodbye to his "roommate."

Jake (16) -- who I think MAY be taller already.

Kyle (17) won't see his brother for 3 years because he'll be leaving on his own mission.
This was tough to see...Mick hugging his oldest goodbye.

Me giving last "words of wisdom" and love.
The car ride home was quiet. Mick had to go back to work, the boys had to go to school for tests, and I went in to work. Upon arriving home though, Kyle and I ran to the back of our house to catch Elder McDonald's plane flying over our church. Luckily I captured it with my phone. I think it's beautiful with the sun just rising.
