"Wow I have some huge news. Well we had lots of baptismal dates including 4 this Saturday, but my companion and I are transferring areas. I know that these things happen for a reason and I'm so glad I got to meet the people of Cuauhtemoc. But there are many experiences to come and new people to meet. By the way it's pretty rare to transfer areas while training. We are in the great city of Chihuahua now and it's really beautiful. It's pretty much America. They have more things here than Pasco, haha. My companion is the new district leader wow! He became a trainer after his training and now halfway through training me he was called as the DL. The Lord trusts him a lot. Oh and we're opening a new area so it's gonna be a lot of contacting.
We are now in a ward instead of a small branch and I'm excited to meet the members!! We know we are gonna do a great job in this new area as we put our trust in the Lord. My Spanish is getting really good. Almost every week I'm asked to help in Gospel Principles.
Elder Serrano, Elder McDonald, Victor
My companion and I are gonna miss our convert Victor a lot though. He loves us a lot and actually sent us off today and it was really emotional. He cried numerous times. We wrote him goodbye notes and told him we loved him and that whenever he needs our help to email or call us. We told him that he's the new missionary in that area because they actually closed our area. I gave him contacting cards, haha. Anyways, thanks everyone for the love and emails."
**Thoughts/Comments from emails to Mom and Dad**
- "Sometimes when I have to walk 40 minutes to a house I think my family's probably just chillin right now and I'm probably right hahaha"
- "We have given many blessings we just tell our members to call and well sometimes they see us walking and stop us hahaha. Yes this calling is awesome!!"
- "One experience I had there was another day I was struggling with my Spanish and my comp looked at me to speak and I was like nahh and then I opened my mouth and with help I'm sure of it I bore testimony for 10 minutes about attending church and its importance!"
Not sure if this is his new District or old District
Davis said that it has rained non-stop all month in Cuauhtemoc.
