So, first of all -- I happened to be online the same time as Davis yesterday and he said he forgot to hit SEND on his email to me last week. UGH! I told him I forgave him. Info later...

"Hey everyone!!
Sorry I forgot to warn you guys but we had exchanges and my super cool trainer was switched to a new area. I will be staying here in chihuahua with my new companion Elder Ramirez who so far today in our few hours of companionship has been super cool as well. Also because hes not from my area I will be leading in my area for a while cause I know the streets, the members, and the investigators.... so we will see how this goes. Ohh and he doesn't speak English so I will probably be fluent soon hahaha. He told me that he would like to learn so I'm gonna teach him some things. I've been told hes a really good missionary which is awesome! I will miss my Dad though (missionary term for trainer) We got along really well and had lots of fun times living together for 3 months. But the mission moves on!!! My training ended and now the next chapter starts!! Anyways I love you guys!!!! Keep being awesome!! BYE"

Sunset or Sunrise? I don't know...
In my email:
Davis said he's feeling "way better now thankfully!!!" I asked him about the earthquake and the hurricane that's supposed to hit and he said, "No, we didn't feel the earthquake or any hurricanes but we hear about them all the time!! I have no idea how bad they are but we do hear things. We won't get anything, the people hear say that these storms never reach us so that's good right?"
Commenting on Kyle (brother) turning 18, he said, "I'm glad he made the decision to go on a mission cause I never thought I would go but here I am hahaha. Hopefully the rest will follow! ...he seems pretty dedicated. I hope he leaves soon!! The sooner he leaves the sooner I see him again and the sooner you get both of us. I hope he goes to Mexico so there can be two "Mexicans" in the family."
I asked him about his new companion (after I found out about it while messaging with him) and he said, "Elder Ramirez is from the state of Mexico. He has 7 months left on the mission. He wants to learn English so I'm going to help him with that. He's 21. He's super cool and we're already getting along."
Then he ended it with "Thanks for the email, sorry for last week!!"
Info from his last week's email to me:
I told him that I bore my testimony that Sunday before and he said, "That's good! I'm glad you actually went to bear your testimony. Us McDonalds never go hahaha! And I'm glad it was a special one too! Well it's always special when we go up! I'm glad you're thinking about setting goals... Right now my whole life is goals and it Works so go right ahead and see for yourself haha!"
I asked him what his favorite food is because he was soooooo picky when he left and was not looking forward to Mexican food. He said, "On Saturday we ate something called (sopa azteca) aztec soup I think...but it was soooooooo good!! Also I really love discada which is like some kinds of meats with hot dog bits."
I just have to add how proud we are of Davis and his growth in such a short time! Keep up the good work!!!
