"Hey everyone this week has definitely topped every other week ive had here in the mission. My new area is awesome, my new comp Elder Jimenez and i get along really really well! I met an apostle Elder Dallin H. Oaks and shook his hand. I saw my old comp from the CCM and hes also being trained by Elder Serrano so were officially mission brothers! I also saw Elder Serrano and we took family fotos hahaha!

On sunday we had a conference with Elder Dallin H. Oaks with all of chihuahua. The whole mission went, and i saw lots of other people from my last few areas. Even a few people from Cuahtemoc my first area. They were surprised to see me and hear how much my spanish has improved! Also it snowed here on thursday!!! It was super cold and my comp and i stayed out working, it was one of my most successful days on the mission. In and hour and a half we had 36 contacts, 4 new investigators, 2 lessons, and we contacted a reference. I could say we slept pretty good that night hahaha! 

Also i heard some super crazy news!! One of my friends back home opened his mission call and is coming here to chihuahua!! I still cant believe it! Its too crazy! So thats one friend i dont have to wait 2 years to see hahaha!

"My week has been really good!! I heard Damian's coming here to chihuahua how crazy!!! Cant wait to see him!! My new area has been awesome so far and we got lots of snow last thursday! It was awesome seeing Hallman again we hung out and caught up the whole time hahaha!"

Highlights from email to Mom:

"I love my new area its so awesome here in Parral! We have branches here... theres 300 members in the branch but only 30ish are active... wow ikr! My comp and i are getting along really well!! We have a lot of unity and he tells me that im coolest gringo hes met hahaha! He will have a year exactly this wednesday

 and were gonna celebrate haha! Hes from Oaxaca, Oaxaca. We did get some snow it was super exciting for me i was smiling really big when i saw the first snow flakes. Haha we beat you guys here in mexico how crazy! My apartment is really nice but unorganized cause we just moved houses so ill send you a pic when its ready!

This weekend was super awesome. I saw Halllman, Serrano, and an apostle of the lord!!! We stayed with Elder Fastabend and elder mortenson they were pretty fun hahaha! It was all weekend long. My favorite part was seeing Elder Oaks and shaking his hand!! He shared a really inspired message!!

I havent gotten your package but i got grandma Wibergs! We were told that the offices are working really hard and that our pckages will get here really soon! Nothing slowed down here in my new area! Its going by way faster now! It feels like christmas but its not the same without family."
