WEEKLY UPDATE #45

"Hey everyone!

This week has been really good! Im so glad they released new FSY songs... it´s weird the things that excite you when you´re a missionary. My comp and I continue to get along really well, we already have like 10 inside jokes hahaha. We´re still working super hard in our area even though it can be depressing sometimes. The people here are not receptive hahaha. Lots of catholics. 

Erick the person were gonna baptize is on vacation right now, but he said he´ll get baptized when he gets back. So that ones just a waiting game. We´re gonna keep trying our best and pray for miracles cause thats what this area needs. 

Yesterday I gave a talk about Missionary work... my talk was really good but I got really nervious once I got upfront. Also I forgot my scriptures and my companion had to save me mid-talk (he was seated towards the back and had to make a trip) hahahahahahaha.... it was sooo embarassing. Just imagine how red I got, I somehow managed to turn redder than I already was with my sunburn. 

My scripture studies are going really well. I´m in Helaman 6 right now, just finished my favorite chapter (Helaman 5). You guys should read it!!

"My week was super awesome" seems to be the theme of his letters this week. He told us he's still sunburned and is now peeling. I don't know if he'll ever learn to put on the super good sunscreen I sent him with.. I asked him if people comment on his sunburns and he said they do all the time. He said "moms" are always concerned and offering him Vitamin E oil, etc. Thanks "moms!"
