"My week has been really good! This week they operated on a missionary so we've been taking care of him in the house. This week flew by."

I asked him if he's able to wake up on his own yet and he said,

"Sometimes I hear my alarm, sometimes I don't. If I don't hear my alarm Canche wakes me up by slapping me, taking my blanket and turning the light on. He's kind of aggressive."

In regards to his investigator:

"He's super cool. He read the pamphlet we left him, he read Alma 31 and he asks a lot of questions. They're not gonna be able to go to church tomorrow but they will next Sunday."

I mentioned people ask me a lot of questions about him serving a mission, etc. He said,

"That's awesome! Curiosity normally is what makes people want to listen to us. Curiosity also is what gets them baptized. hahaha"

"I've been here 17 months tomorrow! Wow!!"

Regarding his brother who is in the MTC:

"Getting to the field definitely is scary. That's when you start missing home and being an actual missionary."
